- Sunanda_R Vienna Airport: was completely closed overnight and this morning. No landings or departures. Rerouting incoming flights to airports that could still accommodate them must have been madness. Many were diverted to Germany, and Venice also had to deal with some. Bratislava was unfortunately also closed! Now everything has to be brought back to normal. So, a lot more work to do. Couldn't this have waited until January 22nd? My daughter is flying to Dubai with a friend then.
